# Disaster Declarations

> List the federal disaster declarations that covered a US county.

List the federal disaster declarations (floods, hurricanes, fires, storms, earthquakes and more) that covered a US county, newest first. Use it to check the hazard history of a property, a policy or a claim location. Both `state` and `county` are required. Declarations that cover a whole state are included for every county in it and marked `statewide`. `total` is the number of matching declarations, which can exceed the page returned when `limit` is lower. Narrow with `incident_type` (for example Flood, Hurricane, Fire) and a declaration date range. A county with no declarations is a completed result with `total` 0.

## Authentication

Requires x402 payment in the `payment-signature` header.
