POST
Searches the dockets of US federal agencies on the federal regulations portal, newest change first: docket id, agency, type (rulemaking or nonrulemaking), title, the date of its last change and a link. Notes

  • Optionally narrow by agency (its acronym, for example FAA or EPA) and by docket_type (rulemaking or nonrulemaking).
  • Use it to find where an agency keeps the record of a rule and its public comments; use the Federal Register documents tool for the published rules and notices themselves.
  • total is how many dockets matched, including any beyond limit, and is 0 when none did.
  • Each docket links to its page on the portal, which lists its documents and comments.
  • Results return inline. The finished job stays available at /v1/requests/{request_id}
