OneShot is the execution layer for AI agents. It sells two things, built on the same tools.

A tool

A tool is one complete action at a known price. You call it with its inputs and get the result.
  • Complete. OneShot picks the provider, handles the failure, and retries until the action lands. See guaranteed execution.
  • Priced before it runs. Most tools have a fixed price. Tools whose cost varies, such as a phone call or a purchase, quote first. See pricing.
  • Recorded. Every paid call returns a signed receipt.

A goal

A goal is an outcome with a budget. You say what done looks like and how much may be spent, and OneShot decides the steps: it plans, calls tools, waits on replies, and retries until the goal is met.
  • You set the limits. A budget, an optional deadline, and which actions need your approval. See approvals.
  • It can run for hours or days. A goal can wait for an email reply or pace its own outreach.
  • Unspent budget comes back as credits when the goal ends.
Goals run through Compute.

How they connect

A goal is tools plus a decision about the order. The tools a goal uses are the same ones you can call directly, and each goal OneShot solves becomes a tool for the next one. Each tool that ships moves the ceiling up.

The tools

Seven categories. Each name links to its reference page, and the SDK overview lists the method for each.

Messaging

LinkedIn messaging runs through a connected account and has its own reference section.
